This winter has been full of illness. Students and teachers alike having been impacted by brutal colds and stomach bugs. The winter is always a tough time with windows shut, and students in close quarters inside, so illness tends to spread.
Keep an eye on your students. The best way to limit the spread of the germs, is to keep students home for day if at all possible. This is not always ideal, but these "super bugs" having been running rampant throughout the school.
Hopefully with the groundhog saying it's going to be an early spring, spring will be here before you know it. Fingers crossed, we are trying to get students outside for recess as much as possible depending on the weather. Hoping for a very healthy spring.
I have been teaching for twelve years, and eleven years in the town of Willington, CT.
